Job Summary
Lead modernization of our underwriting and policy administration platform as IT Director on a hybrid schedule across Farmington, CT; Canton, MA; Boston, MA; or Raleigh, NC. Drive cloud-enabled platform architecture, API-first and event-driven integration, and AI-enabled decision support. Partner with underwriting, product, architecture, operations, and delivery teams to evolve legacy systems into scalable, modern solutions while maintaining regulatory compliance. Oversee strategy, roadmap, and delivery with a product-focused operating model; manage talent, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional governance. Bring 12+ years of technology leadership, experience in enterprise applications/insurance technology transformation, and a track record of delivering complex modernization initiatives in regulated environments.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- 5+ years leading managers and/or large cross-functional technology organizations
- Experience modernizing policy administration, underwriting, or core insurance platforms in a carrier environment
- Experience delivering in regulated environments with governance and risk management
