Job Summary
IT Director EDGE Projects directs the Office of Information Services’ Project Management Office for statewide IT delivery, shaping strategy and governance for EDGE projects across OHA and ODHS. Leads planning and execution of the agency’s large-scale information systems projects, coaches PMO staff, ensures standardized project methodologies, and collaborates with executive governance bodies. Requires extensive IT management experience, strong communication and facilitation skills, and PMP certification. The role is hybrid with in-office presence expected 1-2 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR Four years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field
- 8-12 years of Management experience in an IT organization
- 4-6 years experience leading a Project management office
- 4-6 years experience managing a project portfolio of greater than $50 million
- 4-6 years experience as a project manager
- PMP certification
- strong customer service orientation and responsiveness to customer requirements
- ability to translate technical issues into non-technical language for management and customers
- facilitation skills for groups of technical and non-technical participants
- proficient verbal and written communications
