Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end IT asset lifecycle management, from planning and procurement to maintenance and retirement, while enforcing best practices for tracking, compliance, and financial alignment with GRC policies. Maintain CMDB integrity by accurately identifying, classifying, and registering configuration items, ensuring data quality and enforcing policies for relationships and version control. Conduct regular audits to detect inconsistencies and implement validation mechanisms to support regulatory adherence and audit requirements. Identify automation opportunities to streamline change management and incident response, then analyze large asset datasets to derive insights, develop dashboards on key KPIs, and optimize IT usage. Collaborate with IT security and cross-functional teams to refine ITAM and ITCM processes, drive process improvements, and align asset management with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (ITCM) best practices
- Deep knowledge of CMDB structures, CI relationships, and IT service dependencies
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM platforms, and asset management tools
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work with large datasets using ServiceNow PA, Power BI, or other reporting tools
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks, governance standards, and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive automation adoption
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams to align asset and configuration management with business goals
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to risk management and operational efficiency
