Job Summary
Support the development, testing, and maintenance of business applications using Microsoft .NET and C# technologies while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and users to deliver technical solutions. Assist with implementing new features, troubleshooting application issues, and maintaining integrations between systems and databases. Participate in software testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, while using Azure DevOps for work item management and deployment processes. Create technical documentation and apply software development best practices and Agile methodologies to support process improvement and automation initiatives. Work approximately 20 hours per week in a flexible schedule designed around university studies at Copeland's Mikulov plant, gaining exposure to enterprise IT systems within a global manufacturing organization focused on sustainable HVACR technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of C# and .NET development
- Active student status with availability to work approximately 20 hours per week
- Strong interest in software development, enterprise applications, and manufacturing-related business processes
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control and development lifecycle tools
- Experience gained through coursework, university projects, personal projects, or internships involving C# and .NET technologies
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
