IT Developer

IT Developer at Medtronic with a focus on Hyperautomation and AI. Lead design, development, and deployment of AI-powered experiences using Glean across enterprise use cases (search, Q&A, copilots, summarization, insights). Configure and extend Glean components (Connectors, Search & Retrieval frameworks, Prompt Library & Prompt Engineering, Apps/Actions/Workflows, Knowledge Graph & Metadata, user roles and security). Troubleshoot and optimize Glean-based AI solutions for performance, accuracy, and user experience. Build agentic and workflow-driven AI solutions combining Glean with automation platforms (RPA, APIs, scripts) and develop end-to-end decision + execution flows where Glean acts as the intelligence layer. Partner with automation teams to integrate Glean with RPA tools (UiPath / Automation Anywhere or equivalent) and data platforms (ETL, Data Lake, Iceberg, DW) including both structured and unstructured data. Write clean, maintainable code, develop integrations via APIs, webhooks, and SDKs, and support CI/CD and environment promotion. Ensure solutions meet auditability, compliance, and reliability, participate in UAT sessions, gather stakeholder feedback, and deliver high-performance solutions. Requires 4+ years of experience or advanced degree in CS/Data Science/Business Analytics or related field, strong programming in Python/JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, security/compliance experience, deep Hyperautomation/AI knowledge across platforms (UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Databricks, Snowflake), and ongoing learning mindset. Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-based AI, RAG, unstructured enterprise data, and cross-functional communication; experience with Glean and Copilot Studio is a plus.
