Job Summary
IT Developer I is an entry-level professional who supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications and digital solutions. The role collaborates with senior developers, testers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software aligned with organizational standards. This position focuses on learning modern development practices, strengthening programming skills, and contributing to technical problem-solving. Responsibilities include developing software applications using Java, Python, C#, or .NET; writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews; supporting database operations with SQL and working with relational or cloud databases; participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams; using Git-based version control and contributing to CI/CD activities; documenting code, requirements, and technical resolutions; and staying current with emerging technologies to apply new learning to projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with no previous professional experience
- Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or tools such as Azure DevOps
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
- Internship or project experience in software development
