Job Summary
The MES Analyst/IT Desktop Technician II is responsible for monitoring MES systems, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT hardware (computers, scanners, printers) across the plant floor and control room. The role supports installation, maintenance, and upgrades of MES systems, coordinates with MES team members, and ensures minimal production disruption through timely troubleshooting. The position requires flexibility including overtime and holiday support, and involves working across rotating shifts in a production-critical environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- At least 2+ years of IT experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware and software
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and web browsers
- Experience building, imaging, or installing Windows on computers
- Ability to think analytically and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, graveyard)
