Job Summary
Collaborate with operational leadership to assess functional needs for hardware and software standards while visiting remote locations to resolve active technology issues. Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of phones, desktops, laptops, and peripherals, providing onsite, remote, and email support for applications including EHR, RIS, and PACS. Monitor computer rooms, perform preventative maintenance, and create user accounts with appropriate permissions. Enter all entries in the Helpdesk tracking system, escalate issues to vendors, and educate staff on security best practices and HIPAA compliance. Maintain documentation and network security while adhering to a Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Comp Tia A+
- Network+
- Two years experience in Business/Enterprise support services
- demonstrated ability to solve the most complex desktop support issues
- Solid experience in Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS operating systems
- Experience in computer networking configuration and architecture
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Understanding of the Adobe Suite of products
- Knowledge of backup and recovery software applications
- Must be extremely organized
