Job Summary
Respond to support requests and resolve problems across all software platforms and computing equipment within the Gaylor technology environment. Diagnose Windows and PC hardware issues, manage laptop, tablet, and cell phone configurations, and troubleshoot LAN connectivity. Maintain appropriate records, document support issues and solutions, and perform data migrations or assist with data restorations on local devices. Requires CompTIA A+ certification, which may be obtained within the first year, along with previous desktop support experience. This role utilizes Gaylor Performance Values and requires working scheduled hours including overtime as needed.

- Must be able to work scheduled hours as well as overtime, as required, on short notice
- Must be able to remain calm in times of heightened emotional situations
- Must work well with others as a member of a team to complete tasks
- Must be able to wear personnel protective equipment (i.e., hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, safety harness, etc.) when required
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
- Possess good vision/hearing (normal or corrected)
- Ability to work while sitting or standing for long periods
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ preferred; may be obtained within first year of employment
- Previous desktop support or IT helpdesk experience preferred
