Job Summary
IT & Cyber Security Specialist responsible for securing, supporting and coordinating the organization’s IT infrastructure, cyber security operations, data security, systems administration, information protection practices, and technology risk management. Leads development of security policies, conducts risk assessments and vulnerability scans, implements incident response, disaster recovery planning, and ensures compliance with privacy laws. Manages IAM (MFA, SSO, RBAC), encryption standards, and security monitoring (Sophos, Entra logs). Provides technical leadership, cyber security awareness training, and secure lifecycle management for IT assets, while coordinating with external partners for penetration testing and threat intelligence. Requires bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; annual pay $63,700 with potential for cloud and on-premises infrastructure experience. Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to operate with limited oversight in a security governance context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology; Computer Science; Cyber Security; Data Science; Information Systems; Network Administration; Digital Forensics; or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience in information technology, cyber security operations, systems administration, network administration, infrastructure support, or information security environments.
