IT Contract Analyst

Job Summary

Coordinate the intake, routing, and tracking of IT contracts, Information Technology Security Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, amendments, statements of work, order forms, renewals, and termination notices. Maintain ServiceNow contract repositories, ensure records are complete, and track milestones, expiration dates, and renewal deadlines. Assist with gathering signatures using Adobe Sign, manage contract execution workflows, and provide preliminary reviews, summaries, and risk analyses using industry-leading tools. Review and interpret various IT agreements including Master Services Agreements, Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Hardware Agreements, Leases, and Telecommunication Agreements. Produce analysis for contract strategy sessions and support the Manager, IS Contracts, serving as a point of contact for internal customers and vendors. Incorporate approved language into vendor agreements, compare documents against organizational standards, and assist with renewal orders and termination letters. Prepare IT Contract Commitment reports for finance and support the development of procedures for the ServiceNow Contracts Lifecycle Management solution.

Required Qualifications

  • AA/AS degree, IT or paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant work experience, preferably in IT
  • Experience in contracting, IT operations, procurement, or a related field
  • A strong demonstrated interest in developing in these areas with a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organization
  • A basic understanding of: Software licensing models; SaaS and cloud services; Technology maintenance and support agreements; Security, cybersecurity, and privacy requirements; Business Associate Agreements, IT service agreements, and data protection requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • The ability to communicate complex issues/solutions in a manner that is easily understood and actionable by the audience
  • The ability to perform with a sense of urgency within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once without compromising quality, service levels, or integrity
  • The ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and pay specific attention to details
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data at all times
