Job Summary
Lead and support IT implementation projects within the Quality & ESH IT area using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within budget while identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. Act as the IT partner for business customers by delivering technical consulting and ensuring optimal availability and cost-efficiency for Quality & ESH applications. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage application lifecycles, foster cross-functional teamwork, and develop stakeholder communication plans. Ensure adherence to IT governance, standards, and compliance requirements while building relationships with key user groups to co-create strategic solutions. This role drives digital transformation and operational excellence within Continental's Information Technology team, supporting a multicultural, distributed environment with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in project management, with a focus on managing IT projects and collaborating with external service providers
- Many years in IT application operations and project delivery
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills, enabling the management of stakeholder expectations, negotiation with vendors, and conflict resolution across diverse teams
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working in a multicultural, distributed team environment
