Job Summary
IT Consultant in the Banking Sector responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of IT processes and solutions tailored to banking clients. Collaborates with senior consultants to analyze business requirements, develop IT processes, support IT solution implementations, ensure alignment with ITIL standards, participate in testing and validation of software/applications and systems integrations, contribute to documentation (workflows, procedures, user manuals, training materials), and leverage IT Governance tools to improve process efficiency. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills in English, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with ITIL, ISO standards, ITSM tools (e.g., SMAX, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy), and software development methodologies is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous internship or project experience in IT consulting or the banking sector is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic understanding of ITIL framework (preferred)
- Familiarity with banking systems and technologies (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO standards (preferred)
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., SMAX, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) will be an advantage (preferred)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Professional qualifications such as ITIL, BPMN or Prince2 will be considered a plus
