IT Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the IT Compliance program, including ITGC, SOC2, and ISO 27001 frameworks. Support process owners in designing and testing internal controls while updating documentation for narratives, control descriptions, and compensatory procedures. Coordinate with external audit firms to execute certification processes and remediation plans, and contribute to special projects such as risk assessments, systems integrations, and ad hoc reporting. Report to the Manager, Cybersecurity and Compliance with a focus on ensuring significant risks are monitored across public company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Has internal audit certifications i.e. CIA, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Internal Auditor, etc.
- 3+ years of experience involving the audit and/or internal controls for public companies
- Big Four experience
- Strong knowledge of ITGC (including SOX), SOC2 and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Strong Microsoft Office suite user (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Excellent communication skills
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 h/weekly
- Work location: NYC or Pittsburgh
- Typically, we work Monday-Thursday in office, Friday work from home
