IT Cloud Engineer – Cloud & Connectivity

Job Summary
Design and optimize Azure-first cloud hosting architecture while managing hybrid environments during the private cloud-to-Azure transition. Support workload migration (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) using Infrastructure as Code with ARM/Bicep and Terraform, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. Operate connectivity services across offices and construction sites by integrating Azure networking with on-premises environments and coordinating with external ISPs. Manage identity and access through Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, implement Zero Trust principles, and troubleshoot cloud, network, and SQL Server issues. Contribute to cloud architecture standards, governance best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Cloud & Connectivity team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years in enterprise infrastructure and cloud engineering with hands-on Azure-based hosting and hybrid cloud migration experience
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, governance)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep, Terraform)
- PowerShell automation
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Entra ID

- Demonstrated expertise in disaster recovery, high-availability solutions, Windows Server, SQL Server administration, and monitoring tooling
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external service providers
