Job Summary
Senior IT Business Process Expert for Record to Report (R2R) focusing on SAP S/4HANA-based finance transformations.Responsibilities include delivering high-quality R2R solutions aligned with global process standards, validating designs, overseeing implementation, UAT, cutover, and hypercare; driving AI-enabled automation and analytics to improve close speed and data quality; partnering with Finance stakeholders and IT teams to deliver end-to-end R2R outcomes across GL, AP, FA, Intercompany, VAT, and reporting; collaborating with shared services and enterprise platforms to harmonize processes; leveraging automation, AI copilots, and intelligent reconciliations to optimize the period-end close and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in finance process optimization, business analysis, or consulting with a focus on Record to Report (R2R) in a large multinational environment
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance concepts in an R2R context (General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Intercompany, period-end close)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Innovative mindset with a focus on automation and AI to improve close speed, reconciliation quality, exception handling, and insights (e.g., intelligent matching, anomaly detection, and generative AI copilots)
- Knowledge of automated payments and host-to-host/bank connectivity integration with large banks (e.g., Citi) in an SAP landscape (preferred)
- Experience in SAP Lease Accounting processes and related system support (preferred)
- Exposure to tax/localization topics such as VAT configuration, Intrastat reporting, and IDoc-based interfaces (a plus)
- Experience with Concur expense and P-Card (preferred)
- Familiarity with Prince2, Agile methodology and/or SAFe framework (preferred)
- Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field
