IT Business Analyst

Job Summary
The IT Business Analyst will optimize, standardize, and leverage ERP and other Business Systems, integrating them into business processes to achieve improved efficiency. Key activities include estimation of effort, requirements analysis and documentation, development and execution of testing plans, preparation of training documentation, and support for end-user training. The role involves active participation in all SDLC phases, collaboration across Global IT, and scope assignment to ERP/CRM/HR-FIN/IT/PLM/RPA/TMS areas. Responsibilities include gathering functional requirements, developing/testing plans, coordinating UAT, preparing release notes and user guides, and driving process improvements. Strong emphasis on communicating with stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration, and staying current with industry trends. Desired experience includes ERP software (IFS, QAD, Sage, SAP), experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA, and business-analysis certifications (IIBA, PMI) or related certifications (APICS). Travel up to 25% (domestic/international) with flexible scheduling to align with US core hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree + 7 years relevant experience, OR 9+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years in a manufacturing or logistics/distribution environment
- Understanding of enterprise business systems architecture, project management, and manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Collaborative team experience
- Proven analytical and evaluative abilities
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and organizational skills
