IT Business Analyst

Job Summary
Act as the primary contact for business users on system-related issues, coordinating with IT and vendors to resolve incidents and improve performance. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define business requirements, develop functional specifications, and create and execute test scenarios for enhancements and new implementations. Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend innovative uses of technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support system implementations and upgrades by developing training materials, leading user sessions, establishing super user forums, and ensuring business readiness for go-live. Utilize project management skills to define priorities, manage timelines, allocate resources, and provide consistent progress updates to leadership. Provide application support including troubleshooting, data corrections, and coordination with IT support groups to ensure system stability and user satisfaction. Collaborate with business partners to design and develop reports and dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making. Partner with cross-channel teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices across business units. Contribute to the development of annual plans and strategies that align system enhancements with overall business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- General knowledge of IT systems
- SAP
- Strong understanding of system interfaces between SAP and third-party applications
- Ability to understand system capabilities
- Ability to analyze data
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
