IT Business Analyst - SAP

Job Summary
Gather, document, and prioritise business requirements by partnering with leaders, process owners, and end users. Analyse and map business processes to identify optimisation opportunities, then translate needs into structured functional specifications. Collaborate with architects and developers to design solutions, support technology evaluations against enterprise standards, and facilitate workshops across EMEA. Contribute to project planning, manage user acceptance testing, and drive change management through stakeholder engagement and training. Assist in developing business cases and technology roadmaps while supporting solution assessments and RFQs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Business Analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, systems integration, and functional decomposition
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions with clear traceability and prioritisation
- Previous experience in SAP or ERP project delivery
- Strong experience in business process analysis and data flow mapping
- Experience supporting solution assessments, RFPs, and RFQs
- Knowledge of business case development and investment analysis
- Experience planning and facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to delivery
- A broad IT background, including solution design, application management, project delivery and business analysis
- Experience working within large, international B2B organisations, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A recognised Business Analysis qualification such as CBAP or an equivalent certification
- Experience supporting business transformation, process standardisation, and digital change programmes across multiple locations and countries
- Additional European languages
