Job Summary
IT Business Analyst role requiring collaboration with business product owners to determine needs, assess processes, document scope/specifications/high-level design, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering sessions, acting as SME for assigned business units, participating in design reviews to ensure robust, secure applications, researching incidents and providing resolutions within SLAs, developing test documentation and executing test cases, guiding User Acceptance Testing, maintaining project documentation, applying changes to production, and independently managing small-to-medium projects. Requires hybrid work arrangement (remote/onsite after training) with residence in Texas and ability to work from home; training occurs at RBFCU’s Service Center in Live Oak, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 5 years' relevant experience
- Associates Degree in Business or Information Systems preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Systems Analyst / Business Lead / Application Support role
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Banking / Credit Union Software Applications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an area of business specialty relevant to Financial Institution operations, such as Lending, Finance, Audit, Member Service, etc.
- Ability to meet deadlines with changing priorities
- Strong communication & presentation skills, able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
