Job Summary
IT Business Analyst-Finance role supporting Agile delivery and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities include capturing and breaking down business requirements into detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and technical specifications; facilitating communication between Product Owners, SMEs, and development teams; maintaining essential artifacts and a single source of truth; identifying process improvements; collaborating with QA to define test cases and ensure the Definition of Done; and supporting decision-makers with data-driven recommendations. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years of related experience in business analysis or process optimization, practical Agile knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and SQL. Familiarity with P&C insurance concepts and CI/CD understanding are a plus. Location: Omaha, NE, USA (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 2–3 years of related experience in business analysis, project management, or business process optimization
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Application lifecycle tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally)
- Proficiency in data manipulation software (Excel)
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Domain knowledge in Insurance/P&C rating, policy coverages, and endorsements is a significant plus
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
