Job Summary
IT Business Analyst to bridge business objectives and IT capabilities. Responsible for requirement gathering, documenting business requirements and functional specifications, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities, evaluating and proposing process improvements, coordinating with stakeholders, creating process maps and system requirements, developing test plans and validating solutions, and providing training and end-user support. Requires cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions. Technical skills include data analysis (Excel, SQL), and familiarity with JIRA/Trello and software development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall). Certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA or similar preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL)
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop clear business requirements, process maps, and system requirements
- Ability to create reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights
- Experience training and supporting end-users
- Knowledge of data analysis and modeling techniques
