Job Summary
IT/AV Support Specialist providing front-line technical assistance to college faculty, staff, and students for IT and classroom AV systems. Responsibilities include resolving hardware/software/network issues, setting up and maintaining end-user PCs and AV equipment, training instructional staff on presentation hardware, troubleshooting, and coordinating with the MISC team. Participates in budget development and purchasing considerations, documents problems in the Service Desk system, and supports events requiring audio-visual setup. Travel to various locations is required; flexible hours and occasional weekends may be necessary. Strong customer service, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and proficiency with Windows environments are essential.
