Job Summary
Design and implement enterprise automation frameworks using Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, and Puppet to automate server provisioning, configuration, patching, and application deployments. Develop reusable automation modules, playbooks, and scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Shell to integrate workflows with APIs and build custom plugins. Deliver solutions across public, private, and on-premises clouds to manage VM lifecycles and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Convert business requirements into design documents and lead delivery from design through production rollout, ensuring compliance and audit standards. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, implement testing frameworks, and maintain documentation while troubleshooting failures and performance bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Infrastructure & Automation Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise in: Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, Galaxy, Tower/AWX)
- PowerShell scripting
- Shell scripting (Bash)
- Python for automation
- Experience with: Linux & Windows Server administration
- Configuration management best practices
- Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Experience working in hybrid (Cloud + On-prem) environments
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with REST APIs and automation integrations
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Exposure to VMWare and VCenter DC
- Knowledge of cloud-native automation services
- Security hardening and compliance automation
- ITSM tool integrations (ServiceNow or similar)
