Job Summary
The IT Audit Staff Analyst supports Technology Risk and IT audit engagements in a government-federal audit environment, performing ITGC testing (access, change, operations), testing of automated application controls and system interfaces, research on control frameworks (NIST, FISCAM, ISO), and documentation of procedures/results. The role involves coordinating with client personnel, contributing to financial statement and attestation engagements, and preparing status updates and deliverables while collaborating with engagement teams to meet milestones. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of IT audit or technology risk experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; CISA/Security+ or progress toward certification is preferred. Status is contingency; salary range is $65k–$80k annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting (with IT focus), or related field
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience in IT audit, information assurance, cybersecurity, or technology risk
- Experience supporting federal, DoD, or public sector clients preferred
