Job Summary
Conduct risk-focused fieldwork on IT general controls, SDLC, change management, and logical security audits. Identify meaningful issues in control design and effectiveness, perform root cause analysis, and verify issue closure with auditees. Assist in audit planning, reporting, and work paper preparation while managing relationships and escalating risks appropriately. Demonstrate strong understanding of financial services risk environments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of related experience
- A bachelors degree
- Capable of identifying, assessing, and advising on risks for large-scale technology projects, IT general controls and completing IT process audits
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications related to the candidates coverage responsibilities are beneficial, but not required, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Proficiency in auditing cyber security and infrastructure components is a plus (e.g., Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows)
