Job Summary
IT Audit Manager to lead audit teams, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to IT controls to enhance the integrity and security of IT systems. Responsibilities include developing and executing audit plans with risk assessments, control testing, and reporting; identifying IT risks (operational, security, and compliance); designing and performing control tests; preparing audit reports with findings and management action plans; building relationships with business partners and senior management; mentoring junior team members; and staying current on industry regulations and standards such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant IT audit experience
- Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001)
- Experience in IT general controls, application controls, and infrastructure controls
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
