Job Summary
IT Audit Manager in Providence, RI (hybrid) leading complex IT audit engagements focused on information security, cyber risk, and governance across global operations. Responsibilities include risk-based audits of cybersecurity practices, evaluating controls against frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO27001, 800-53), developing audit recommendations to improve security posture and efficiency, preparing concise reports for management, developing annual IT/cyber audit plans, and driving continuous auditing initiatives. Candidate should bring strong IT risk and controls knowledge, experience in SAP environments, familiarity with Azure and cloud security, and professional certifications (CISSP/CCSP/SSCP or CISA/CGEIT/CRISC). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work with cross-functional teams; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ Years work experience in audit of cyber security controls, or information security with a strong audit focus, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of IT risk, controls, and compliance
- Advanced knowledge of CIS 8.1 control framework; familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, NIS2, GDPR; basic understanding of PCI DSS and MUSL rules
- 3-5 years of project lead experience
- Professional auditing certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SSCP (ISC2) and/or CISA, CGEIT, CRISC (ISACA) preferred; equivalent experience may substitute
- Experience auditing or administering SAP systems (ECC, CRM, HANA, S/4)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Linux/UNIX, LDAP, IBM DB2; security in Azure; background in risk assessment/management for AI/ML and related technologies
- Experience with decentralized/online processing environments
- PMP or similar project management certification (preferred)
- ACL data analytics, BluePrism robotics, and continuous auditing experience (preferred)
- Domestic and international travel might be required
