Job Summary
Support internal and external IT audits, regulatory requests, and compliance questionnaires by gathering evidence, coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders, and compiling complete audit packages. Contribute to gap assessments against regulatory requirements by documenting findings and drafting remediation plans with owners and deadlines. Support reviews of IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, and maintain control documentation and monitoring within the GRC platform. Assist in ongoing certification maintenance for standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001 by coordinating required actions and evidence.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in IT compliance, IT audit, or IT governance
- Hands-on experience with gap assessments and supporting remediation plans
- Knowledge of at least one of: DORA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, NIST, or similar frameworks
- Comfortable handling day-to-day compliance tasks independently, while knowing when to involve a senior colleague on complex or ambiguous issues
- Good communication skills — able to explain regulatory requirements in practical terms to technical teams
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, banking, or another regulated industry
- Experience working with a GRC platform (e.g., Vanta)
