Job Summary
Diagnose computer errors and troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues for internal users via phone, email, in-person, or remote access. Provide technical support to remedy problems, install and configure operating systems, and follow up to ensure resolution. Train computer users on system delivery, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting while offering assistance with Active Directory and standard office applications. This compressed schedule involves a 4 days/10 hours shift running from 11:30am to 10:00pm, requiring the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The role supports Stifel's global wealth management and investment banking firm, which prioritizes client success and innovation across over 400 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Working Knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and team working skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Openness to learning new technologies
- Capacity to work efficiently with little to no direct supervision
- Associates degree or equivalent coursework, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of working in a technical environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Active Directory
- Must be able to work any shift, night, weekends, holidays and extended hours as part of the regular schedule
