Job Summary
IT Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Provide hotel guests and colleagues with 1st line IT support, assembling and configuring networks and services, establishing network users and security, performing network troubleshooting, and installing/configuring hardware and software. You will work on a rotating shift basis (39 hours/week) with morning, evening, and night shifts including weekends/bank holidays. Requirements include strong communication to explain tech issues to non-technical colleagues/guests, patience and guest-service mindset, flexibility for 24/7 operations, teamwork with operational and back-office departments, and solid skills in hardware/software support, networking and connectivity, cybersecurity and data protection, and hotel systems knowledge.
