Job Summary
This role ensures WCB maintains full legal compliance in software asset use, leading Software Asset Management initiatives, facilitating compliance processes, and enhancing data visibility for informed technology investment decisions. Responsibilities include managing audits, software reconciliations, and remediation for non-compliance, as well as partnering with teams to optimize SaaS and cloud subscription costs. Candidates should have a university degree in IT or related fields, certification in software asset management, and several years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT, Business, or Computing Science or equivalent experience
- Several years of software asset management experience with a focus on software/SaaS licensing
- Ability to translate complex licensing concepts into clear, concise language
- Familiarity with relevant compliance standards and regulations
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with BI tools for data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency with software asset management platforms and discovery tools
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated self‐motivation with excellent time‐management
- Mature decision‐making, analytical problem‐solving, and investigative skills
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
- Professional Software Asset Management certifications (CSAM, CITAM)
