Job Summary
Manager, IT Asset & CMDB Management role overseeing the strategy, roadmap, documentation, governance, and operational execution of the Asset & CMDB Management Practice. Lead the administration of IT assets (hardware/software) and CMDB data across lifecycle, ensure data quality, and align assets with service management processes. Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting; establish governance structures; drive continuous improvement of asset and CMDB processes; coordinate with ITSM teams (Change/Incident/Problem/Knowledge) and business stakeholders; manage vendor records, licensing, contracts, and inventory reconciliation; deliver training and maintain enterprise-wide standards; support after-hours needs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant management-level experience.
- 3+ years of IT Service Management / IT Service Delivery experience preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Practice-specific certifications (e.g., IT asset management, ServiceNow, CMDB) preferred.
