Job Summary
IT Architect at Vattenfall to guide strategic IT architecture initiatives in an internationally operating hub. Responsibilities include leading fit-for-purpose architecture for strategic projects, consulting the business on IT, integration, and data strategies, promoting secure IT practices, driving data mesh adoption in collaboration with the business, establishing standards and architecture principles, and acting as a trusted advisor to enable operating models through technology while engaging internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Academic degree in IT or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant IT architecture experience
- Strong IT security, integration, and data-strategy background
- Experience in international work environments
- Ability to translate complex challenges into actionable insights for leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive experience as an Architect or Consultant
- Deep IT knowledge and experience with IT architecture and frameworks
- Comfortable communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment and direct complex problems into concise actions for leadership
- Strong experience in IT security, integration topics, and data strategies
- Experience navigating international environments
- Experience translating problems into actionable insights for leadership
