Job Summary
Debug production issues, understand logs, and independently own defects and enhancements within large, existing codebases. Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, Entity Framework Core, and PostgreSQL. Implement complex business logic, validation, and algorithms while debugging auth/session and API issues. Manage state and data using Zustand or TanStack Query, and write clean, maintainable code. Run applications locally end-to-end independently and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines. This senior-level contract role requires strong proficiency in the .NET and React stacks, with a preference for candidates in Charlotte.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
- C# / .NET - Strong proficiency
- React with JavaScript/TypeScript - Strong proficiency
- Strong debugging of auth/session and API issues
- Entity Framework Core
- State & data management (e.g. Zustand, TanStack Query)
- Version Control: Git with GitLab (or equivalent: GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Database: PostgreSQL (or equivalent RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) experience)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ability to run applications locally end‑to‑end independently
- Ability to debug production issues and understand logs
- Experience implementing complex business logic, validation, and algorithms
- Experience working with 3rd party REST APIs and Okta authentication (or equivalent IDP)
- Writing and maintaining deployment pipelines (GitLab CI/CD Pipelines or equivalent)
- This is not an entry‑level role
- Candidate must be able to independently own defects and enhancements
- Candidate must effectively communicate with key stakeholders
- Prior experience with large, existing codebases is required
