Job Summary
Provide technical and functional support for clinical, operational, and business applications by troubleshooting issues, analyzing workflows, and configuring systems. Collaborate with hospital departments, end users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure system reliability, security, and alignment with patient care objectives. Manage incident management, system testing, documentation, and user support while coordinating upgrades, enhancements, and go-live activities across healthcare platforms. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards through continuous improvement initiatives. This full-time, day-shift role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields and up to 50% travel. Prime Healthcare, a leading health system with over 54 hospitals, seeks this analyst to enhance operational efficiency within its integrated delivery network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience supporting applications in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations, security, and compliance standards.
- Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
- Open to travelling up to 50% of the time.
