Job Summary
Resolve all Level 1-2 troubleshooting and configuration for facility computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and AS400 systems. Manage Level 1-2 technical support for the warehouse management system by verifying processes, configuring data integrity, and coordinating with facilities staff on MHE interfaces. Escalate Level 3 issues to corporate support while communicating regularly with internal and external customers. Maintain 24/7 on-call availability to respond to remote issues via a company-supplied laptop and Blackberry. Requires CCNP or 1-3 years of networking experience, 3 years in desktop/WMS support, and strong SQL skills. This role supports The Children's Place, the largest pure-play children's specialty apparel retailer in North America.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must have CCNP or 1-3 years of experience in general networking
- 3 years of experience in desktop/WHSE systems support
- Experience in Windows operating system
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook/Lotus notes or general email
- Experience in a VOIP telecommunications environment
- Strong knowledge of general network protocols (TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Highly proficient in structured query language (SQL) for query and report development
- Must be resourceful and be able to act as a self-sustaining technical resource in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Must be on call 24/7 just in case of emergency
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or technical college preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Manhattan Associates PKMS/WM a plus
