Job Summary
IT Administrator responsible for setting up and maintaining server and client hardware and software in Windows and Linux environments, providing 1st and 2nd level support for IT-related problems, coordinating with IT administrators across THQ Nordic studios in Europe on group-wide set-ups, and maintaining thorough documentation of all work. Tasks include monitoring and maintaining networks and servers, upgrading/installing/configuring hardware and software, implementing security protocols, managing user accounts and access control, performing diagnostic tests and debugging to optimize computer systems, and collaborating with IT teams at other locations. Requires IT education or equivalent knowledge, 3+ years of experience, strong Windows/Linux/AD/Office365/virtualization skills, ITSM and security knowledge, excellent communication, and willingness to travel within Europe.
Required Qualifications
- A completed IT education or corresponding acquired sound IT knowledge
- At least three years' experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies, especially Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, Office365 and virtualization
- Solid knowledge of best practices in ITSM and security
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good English and German skills, both in oral and written form
- Willingness to travel, mostly within Europe around 10% of the working time
