Job Summary
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer, and software issues reported to the Service Desk, assisting users with computer problems remotely or in-person. Update network applications, replace defective parts, and conduct technology training for new users while delivering briefings to enhance system productivity. Perform routine server monitoring, benchmark performance, and remove unauthorized software. Maintain and expand technical knowledge by attending courses and complying with continuing education requirements. Liaise between technical and non-technical employees to create a welcoming atmosphere for internal staff and external participants. Travel up to 50% of the time to various sites, requiring a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Computer Technology or related field
- MCP certification
- A+ certification
- Network+ certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with providing Service Desk workstation and network infrastructure support
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Physical exam
- Background checks
- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications
- Advance skills using Microsoft Outlook
- Advance skills using Microsoft Word
- Advance skills using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Advance skills using Microsoft Excel
- Advance skills using Adobe Acrobat
- Must be honest
