Job Summary
Remote Accessibility Compliance Assessment Consultant performing audits and validation testing on cell phones; document findings and remediation recommendations; apply software fixes and accessibility features within target software; develop and deliver outreach/educational presentations; prepare and conduct training on accessibility topics; requires knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1; hardware testing experience with cell phones; relevant certifications DHS Trusted Tester, CPACC, WAS; corporate contract (full-time or part-time, 1099 or Corp-to-Corp)
Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, human computer interaction, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 requirements for IT software and hardware
- Cell phone hardware testing experience
- Experience with Section 508 and WCAG testing methods (manual and automated)
- Ability to test against HAC ratings (M3, T4) per ANSI C63.19
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills; strong verbal communication for training
- Experience working with multiple clients/projects in fast-paced environments
- Certifications: DHS Trusted Tester, IAAP CPACC, IAAP WAS
