Job Summary

Act as the focal point for management and resolution of all attribute-related issues (L0 level) across global vehicle programs. Track, review, and monitor open issues to ensure correct ownership and resolution progress. Lead cross-functional technical reviews to identify root causes and define corrective and preventive actions. Manage issue prioritisation, escalation, and closure in line with project milestones and attribute targets. Maintain accurate issue status reports using JIRA dashboards and provide regular summaries to program management. Collaborate with Attribute Managers, Test & Validation teams, and Chief Engineer functions to ensure effective issue resolution and capture learnings. Support continuous improvement of issue management processes and problem-solving methods. Contribute to the technical learning culture by sharing insights and lessons learned from issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive development, testing, or validation roles.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Strong background in structured problem-solving methodologies (DFMEA, 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, FTA, etc.)
  • Proven ability to identify, analyse, and drive resolution of complex technical issues across multiple vehicle attributes
  • Broad working knowledge of vehicle attributes such as NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, Efficiency, Thermal, Safety, and Perceived Quality
  • Demonstrated proficiency in JIRA or similar issue-tracking and management tools, including dashboard creation, ticket management, and progress reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive issue closure across diverse technical teams
  • Strong analytical mindset, with an intuitive understanding of vehicles and how systems interact to influence overall attribute performance
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Capable of balancing multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills, capable of working across all levels of the organisation
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for problem-solving, process improvement, and understanding the finer details of vehicle performance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within structured validation and development frameworks across multiple vehicle programs is desirable.
