Job Summary
Investigate referral reasons, listen to student concerns, and contact parents to determine if issues are physical, social, emotional, or academic. Refer students to the Guidance Counselor for behavioral classification, complete all ISSP and discipline forms, and request assignments from teachers. Monitor assigned students during lunch, attend to personal needs, and communicate with teachers, administration, and officers regarding student conduct. Gather materials for expulsion hearings and detention assignments while maintaining confidentiality and prioritizing requests. Fulfill traditional supervisory duties including lesson planning, instruction, grading, and attendance, alongside supervision during school events, recess, and after-school hours. Attend faculty meetings, IEP conferences, and disciplinary hearings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Teacher Certification
- 3 years experience as a Classroom Teacher
