Job Summary
Validate RMF artifacts against NIST 800-53 Rev 5 controls for Defense Threat Reduction Agency subscriber organizations, serving as the final layer of quality assurance for Authorization Boundary Diagrams, SSPs, and POA&Ms. Map collected security evidence to federal baseline standards and cross-reference vulnerability scan data to ensure accurate documentation of system weaknesses. Partner with Protect Analysts to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable data-collection requests, while verifying control baselines within the eMASS database. Evaluate POA&Ms for accuracy and risk scoring, providing actionable feedback to maintain highly organized, audit-ready repositories supporting JFHQ-DoDIN directives. Maintain active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and hold DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification. Work Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1600 hours with minimal annual travel.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III
- DoD 8570/8140 CSSP Auditor equivalent certification
- 3–8 years of progressive experience in Information Assurance, RMF, and NIST compliance
- 2-5 Years working in a SOC or CSSP environment
- Extensive, hands-on experience with NIST SP 800-53 (Rev 5 preferred)
- DoD RMF processes
- BA/BS College degree
- US Citizen
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
