Job Summary
Validate RMF artifacts against NIST 800-53 Rev 5 controls for Defense Threat Reduction Agency subscriber organizations, ensuring accurate authorization and risk mitigation. Map collected evidence including Authorization Boundary Diagrams and POA&Ms to federal baseline security standards while cross-referencing vulnerability scan data against current documentation. Partner with Protect Analysts to translate complex governance requirements into actionable data-collection requests and maintain security control baselines within the eMASS database. Evaluate POA&Ms for accuracy and feasibility, providing actionable feedback on artifacts that fall short of compliance standards. Maintain highly organized, audit-ready repositories of validated evidence to support JFHQ-DoDIN operational directives and evaluator scoring assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III
- DoD 8570/8140 CSSP Auditor equivalent certification
- 3–8 years of progressive experience in Information Assurance, RMF, and NIST compliance
- 2-5 Years working in a SOC or CSSP environment
- Extensive, hands-on experience with NIST SP 800-53 (Rev 5 preferred)
- DoD RMF processes
- BA/BS College degree
- US Citizen
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be a US Citizen
- 1-2 weeks/annually (rare deployment occasions and training attendance)
- Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Comply with any vaccination requirements mandated by contract, applicable law or regulation
