Job Summary
Manage day-to-day security operations for Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities by preparing and updating authorization packages, conducting periodic compliance reviews, and coordinating system changes with the ISSM and AO/DAO. Execute cyber security self-inspections, identify vulnerabilities, and implement countermeasures while ensuring all security documentation and audit records remain current. Monitor authorization boundaries, oversee system recovery processes, and assist DoD agencies and contractors with Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts. Requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, SAP experience, and adherence to DoD Directive 8570.01-M certification standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years related experience
- Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO
- Bachelor's degree in a related area
- Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years' experience
- Equivalent experience (4 years)
- Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level II or Information Assurance Manager II within 6 months of the date of hire
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
- Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Some Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- 2+ years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
- May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
- Must be able to regularly list up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- All Level I & Level II positions - candidate should possess some Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- All Level III positions -candidate should possess 2+ years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience
