ISS Aide

Supervise students assigned to in-school suspension for disciplinary reasons while maintaining a highly structured and orderly environment. Work with certified teachers to create and maintain an orderly classroom, distribute and check student assignments for accuracy, and manage individual student behavior according to board policies and IEPs. Record attendance and discipline referrals using a personal computer and supervise students during lunch and bathroom breaks. Maintain confidentiality, follow district policies, and accept supervisory direction from a principal or designee. Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in staff development training and faculty meetings.
