Job Summary
Coordinate crew management and delegate tasks while executing work in a safe, efficient manner. Install, maintain, and repair category 5e/6/6A copper and single-mode/multimode fiber optic cabling for business clients. Perform mechanical terminations, test newly installed cables, and troubleshoot network issues using Fluke equipment. Manage daily reports, timesheets, and onsite meetings with customers. Install cable support structures, raceway, and conduit, ensuring neat bundling per safety regulations. Read job documentation and operate in cramped spaces or at heights.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a Foreman
- Ability to install voice and data cabling
- Ability to install Fiber Optic cabling and terminate mechanical connections
- Ability to understand and operate a Fluke or likewise testing equipment for troubleshooting and certifying purposes
- Ability to work in cramped spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Familiarity with Copper and Fiber Optic color codes
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Clean driving and criminal record and ability to pass DOJ background checks for access into government and school facilities
