Job Summary
ISP Engineer at GoNetspeed responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating complex transport and central office network upgrades; maintain spare inventory, capacity, and redundancy; develop engineering work packages, diagrams and installation notes; provide technical support to teams, mentor coworkers, and participate in safety programs; handle on-call rotations and after-hours work; travel across NY region to install and repair telecom infrastructure and collaborate with customers on complex services.
Required Qualifications
- Education: 2- or 4-year technical degree preferred, high school diploma required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant technical experience.
- Travel all over NY including Albany and Utica required
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
