Job Summary
Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms running synchronously with appropriate systems. Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed while validating outputs through peer review and automated testing. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and gather, analyze, and synthesize visualizations from large data sets to drive continuous improvement. Document and execute test scenarios using Business Driven Development, monitor and report testing defects, and validate test results for internal sign-off. Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups while deputizing for the Test Manager as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation)
- demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations
- ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Documentation and execution of test scenarios
- identify specific scenarios and write test scripts using Business Driven Development for example Gherkin
- Ability to work with the minimum supervision on day-to-day activities
- Strong organizational skills
- ability to dynamically manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and to tight deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sectors
- working knowledge of Payments Message Processing/Validation with formats like ISO20022 pacs.008, pacs.009, pacs.004, pain.001, camt.056
- Experience with (Selenium, Python, Java, BDD Cucumber and Data Engineering) Methodologies
- Good knowledge of JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence
