ISO Lift Operator

Job Summary
ISO Lift Operator operates forklifts to move intermodal ISO tanks/containers and places equipment in/out of storage. Documents locations using depot/equipment-tracking systems and maintains daily inspection logs. Updates tracking systems, conducts equipment inspections, reports discrepancies, and coordinates with Dispatchers and Drivers to meet production and customer needs. Ensures equipment is in proper working order, handles product temperature requirements, prepares material vouchers for production crews, troubleshoots equipment failures, and follows safety procedures while complying with ISO standards. Requires outside work in variable weather, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for overtime/weekends/nights. Strong communication, basic computer skills, and dependable transportation are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification in forklift operation and related equipment
- Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to follow spoken and written instructions
- Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand safety policies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pass Safety Council training examinations and pre-employment screenings (drug screen)
- Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
